I am 48 years old and like most others my age, I was increasingly concerned about my rising cholesterol level. I was skeptical about using an herbal product as treatment but after hearing about PreLipid I gave it a try, and the results speak for themselves!

When I got tested, my high cholesterol levels were a shock and a real wake up call for me. I did not want to take a prescription drug fearing that it would interact negatively with what I was already taking. I found out about PreLipid from a friend and now my cholesterol is back in a normal range.

With PreLipid I feel great, better than I have in years. And I’ve only been taking it for less than three months. My friends keep asking me what has changed - I just point them toward PreLipid.

Doctors have been treating heart disease for hundreds of years, and some remedies (such as red rice yeast and digitalis from foxgloves) are still widely used, but modern drugs and modern supplements mean many people with heart disease can...

Effect of Extract form Red Yeast Rice on Coronary Events with Previous Myocardial Infarction (Am J Cardiology 2008;101:1689-1693)
This 5 year long multicenter study was conducted to determine the effects of a partially purified extract of red yeast rice, on lipoprotein and CV end points in Chinese patients who experienced a previous myocardial infarction.
• 5,000 patients with average LDL levels at baseline were randomly assigned either to placebo or to Red Yeast Rice daily
• The primary end point was a major coronary event that included nonfatal myocardial infarction and death from coronary heart disease.
Results:
• Frequencies of the primary end point were 10.4% in the placebo group and 5.7% in the Red Yeast Rice treated group, with absolute and relative decreases of 4.7% and 45%, respectively.
• Red Yeast Rice also significantly decreased CV and total mortality by 30% and 33%, the need for coronary revascularization by 1/3, and lowered total and low-density oprotein cholesterol and triglycerides, but raised high-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels.
Conclusion:
Long-term therapy with significantly decreased the recurrence of coronary
events and the occurrence of new CV events and deaths, improved lipoprotein regulation, and
was safe and well tolerated
