The Company has been running a pilot sales force with three full time sales representatives. As of the end of Q1 2010, over 1000 Primary Care Physicians have used PMEDS’s products in over 100,000 patient uses (a “use” being defined as one month’s supply of PMEDS’s products). Physicians use PMEDS’s products in the following clinical scenarios:

  As an alternative where patients are intolerant to prescription drugs
  As an alternative for many patients refuse prescription drugs
  As first-line in pre-disease conditions, when it may be early for prescription drugs
  In combination with prescription drugs

Today, it is a fact that healthcare professionals are becoming increasingly receptive to recommending alternative and integrative medical therapies. There is a growing concern regarding pharmaceutical products in light of recent recalls and “black-box” warnings such that many patients prefer not to take prescription drugs during the pre-stages of chronic disease. Not only are physicians aware of this reality, but the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP), have reported that 62% of Americans and 65% of senior citizens take some form of supplementation. Many seniors are spending an average of $150 per month on supplements.
